Paul is a seasoned wealth advisor who is passionate about helping a select group of successful families and professionals make the most of their wealth through focused planning and sound guidance.
What is your professional and educational background?
I graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BA in Communications. After working in the film industry, I began my career in finance, becoming licensed to help families with investments and insurance. I completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIALPLANNER™ Professional (CFP®) designation® program through Bryant University and subsequently passed the CFP® Certification Exam. To further serve families with retirement planning, I achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation.
Who is your hero and why?
My dad, because of the way he modeled integrity and hard work.
If you weren’t in the financial services industry, what other job would you have?
It would be something where I could use my creative skills. Advertising and film come to mind. But so do coaching and teaching!
What lesson from mom do you still live by today?
To always be prepared. She taught me to look down the road, to plan for things early so that there would be less stress along the highway of life. She still gently reminds me of things that I may not have thought about.
When you’re not working, what do you love to do?
I really enjoy the outdoors - hiking, running and adventure, especially with family and friends! I also enjoy good films and reading.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Physical exercise! It’s such a big part of who I am. Exercise helps me manage stress and provides a great way to connect with other people.
What has been your greatest success in life?
Understanding and growing in my relationship with God. That drives everything else.
What long lasting impact do you want to have on your clients?
My hope is that my clients see me as a partner who has helped them turn all of their “financial numbers” into something meaningful in their lives. I want them to be able to look back and know I did everything possible to help them pursue their goals.
